Boston wants to read your lips 💋

Are you a lip sync assassin? Show us what you’ve got and apply to compete in the inaugural Read My Lips Drag Tournament at the beautiful, historic Huntington Theatre on June 21st, 2025 – celebrate pride month in style!

We are looking for eight sickening drag performers to compete on stage in front of over 700 fans and perform alongside RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 17 contestant and Boston drag icon Kori King. Kori King will judge and crown the Read My Lips winner. ALL drag performers are encouraged to apply!

About Read My Lips: 

All performers will receive a stipend ranging from $50-$400 (based on tournament placement), extra special add-on prizes, and free promotion via The Huntington’s robust email list and social media channels, as well as physical collateral posted around Boston. Winner will receive a crown.

Choose your own lip sync song for your solo performance and if you advance to the final round, you’ll go head-to-head with the other top performer with a pre-selected number. You will receive the final round lip sync song upon acceptance into the competition. Each performance will be professionally lit and be supported with high quality sound design.

All performers will have access to their own, recently renovated, dressing room for the entire day of the competition as well as access to a green room and large backstage area.
