Craig Lucas wrote Prelude to Kiss, I Was Most Alive With You, Reckless, Blue Window, The Dying Gaul, Stranger, Small Tragedy, The Singing Forest, Ode to Joy, & Prayer For My Enemy; the books for An American in Paris, Amelie, and Days of Wine and Roses; the screenplays for Longtime Companion, The Dying Gaul (which he directed), and The Secret Lives of Dentists among many others. He wrote the opera libretto for Nico Muhly’s Two Boys, which premiered at the Metropolitan opera.
