The Huntington Theatre

Please note if you are attending a matinee (2pm) performance at The Huntington Theatre:

Due to construction next door there is no side walk access to the theatre as you approach from the East/Massachusetts Avenue. You will need to cross to the opposite side of Huntington Ave for side walk access. Once at the Gainsborough St and Huntington Avenue intersection you may cross Huntington Avenue and approach the Theatre from the West/from Gainsborough St.

From the West

Mass. Pike to the Prudential exit. Proceed straight down Huntington Ave. The theater is on the left.

From the South

I-93 to the Mass. Ave. exit. Right onto Mass. Ave. north. Left at the seventh light onto St. Botolph St. (You will be directly behind the theatre.)

From the North

Storrow Drive to the Fenway exit. Boylston St. (inbound) to Westland Ave. Right onto Mass. Ave. for one block (past Symphony Hall). Right onto Huntington Ave. The theater is on the left.

Parking near The Huntington Theatre

There are several parking garages within walking distance of The Huntington Theatre. The Huntington is not affiliated with any of these garages. The parking rates listed are valid as of April 11th, 2023 and are subject to change without notice. Please contact the garages directly for the most up-to-date parking information.)

Street parking is very limited, but metered parking spots are available on Huntington Avenue, Massachusetts Avenue, and various streets in the surrounding area. Meters south of Mass. Avenue are in effect until 6pm. Meters north of Mass. Avenue are in effect until 8pm.

Pilgrim Parking Hynes Auditorium Garage

Prudential Garage

Special $25 rate available for evenings (after 3pm to 3am the next day) and weekends if you present your Huntington Theater ticket at the concierge desk in the Prudential Center (ticket must be for the same day you are parking). Public Transportation

MBTA:

Green Line to Hynes station.  Turn left out of the station and continue down Mass. Ave. for 6 blocks. Turn right on Huntington Ave. The Huntington Theater is on the left.

Green Line to Symphony station.  Walk outbound down Huntington Ave. and The Huntington Theater is on the left.

Orange Line to Mass. Ave. station.  Turn left out of the station and continue down Mass. Ave. for 2 blocks. Turn left on Huntington Ave. The Huntington Theater is on the left.

Bus:

No. 1 Harvard-Dudley bus via Massachusetts Avenue to Huntington Avenue.
No. 39 Forest Hills — Back Bay bus to Gainsborough Street.
